Inhale - Exhale - Inhale - Exhale

Have you met Kali?

I am sure you have seen or heard of her.

The iconic goddess with an extended tongue, big eyes, and skulls like a garland around her neck. She wields a sword or scythe and is generally a rather intimidating image.

GOOD - She is meant to be - and there the a reason for this

Kali is the goddess of destruction and, wait for it, Rebirth!

Some say she is the destroyer of the Patriarchy

Some say she is the destroyer of Evil

Some say she protects the Children

Some say she is who finally says ENOUGH! Then burns it all to the ground to start again.

She is always a force for good

I am looking for signs of Kali right now. And I see them everywhere.

I spare no one to my politics unapologetically.

I am disgusted by the trends since before the election and more so now.

But,

 Kali is present everywhere.

Everyone is screaming "THIS ISN'T WORKING!" (your THIS & my THIS may vary)

But Kali hears and destruction is sure to come.

I wonder if it will be in the next decade or beyond when we will see what she brings.

But Destruction & Rebirth, are all upon us all.

I believe it with be for the good of us all.

If there were a beacon of light to the sky, like the Bat Signal, Kali's fierce eye would pierce the night and tell us, she is here. Brace Yourself.

Since the days have grown shorter and time has done what is it always does, we all must breathe and take radically good care to preserve our health, our joy, and our sanity.

Here again is the same list I have posted twice before. With a few new additions:

GET OFF YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA NEWS IN A SILO

  1. Sleep with someone or something you love. I don't mean hiding away. I mean get more sleep. Help your brain, specifically your hippocampus, to let go of the nonsense that the day threw at you so you don't bring it into tomorrow. GO TO BED EARLY. Bring a partner, a lover, a pet. Go to bed.

  1. Go for a walk with a friend. Talk, cry, laugh, scream, disagree...

3. Take radically good care of yourself. But, do so with simplicity. Skip the biohacking podcasts for ones that tell a story or make you laugh. Skip the over the top healthy diet protocols and just eat food that looks like they did just before they were harvested. Drink more water. Do more yoga. Look upon something beautiful. Accept the hugs. Give them too.

Lastly, and I say this (also) as a business owner, drink some tea.

We need all the herbal allies we can get.
